What to do with Peyton Manning?
Those fantasy players who spent a first round or early second round pick are now contemplating a decision they could have never imagined having to make. Do I sit Peyton Manning? Through seven weeks Peyton now has less touchdown passes than Kyle Orton and the same number (eight) as little brother Eli and journeyman quarterback J.T. O’Sullivan. Who could have seen this coming? With the Colts facing three of the top ten defenses against the pass in the Steelers, Patriots, and Titans, there is only one thing that you can do. Keep Peyton Manning in your lineup!
This is Peyton Manning we are talking about. You would have thought that the game against the top ranked Ravens defense might be the occasion to sit Manning. That was his best game of the season, with 271 yards and three touchdowns. Peyton has thrown 30+ touchdowns in each of the past two years and is someone that you start regardless of the matchup. In his career Manning has had plenty of good statistical games against these teams, both in the regular season and the playoffs. Peyton has never missed a start in his career, and has never had less than 26 touchdown passes. He is the definition of consistency, which is what you always want to have on your team when playing fantasy football.
You may have the thought of playing another quarterback given the tough stretch the Colts are going through, but Manning has been the best fantasy quarterback for a long period of time. Others have had a good season or two, but no other player has been this good, this long, every season.

Great Analysis and a question many fantasy owners will be asking heading into Week 8.
I agree with you that if you own him you need to roll with him. It appears the offense is somewhat out of sync but that doesnt mean they cant get it done on Monday Night Football against Tennessee in Week 8.
Roll with him if you own him, unless you have the luxury of owning one of the super stud QBs alongside him.
