Reds’ rookie Jay Bruce had quite the major league debut for himself. Bruce went 3-3 with two walks and a stolen base. The same thing applies to Bruce that I said about Kershaw the other day. Scherzer was called up to the big leagues today, although it is not certain in what capacity he will serve. He might get a start if Micah Owings’ injured ankle makes him unable to go, but nothing has been announced yet. If Scherzer has a spot in the Arizona rotation, grab him up.
