EchoPark Grand Prix at Circuit of the Americas

Good morning, race fans!  It's time for the EchoPark Grand Prix at Circuit of the Americas! This is the longest circuit the Cup Series races on, so there will be fewer laps to be lead and post fast lap times. Various pitting strategies could benefit a few teams, but the drivers that are good on road courses and have good equipment will be up front from the drop of the green flag.

At the time of this article, no drivers are reported to start at the rear. No tech inspections Sunday since cars were impounded.  The weather will be in the 80s with sunshine and a 0% chance of rain when the green flag drops at 3:00 EST today.  Start your engines!

NASCAR DFS

I'll be playing in Draft Kings this week. If you're new to the NASCAR DFS world, here's a quick summary of how scoring is done:

Look for a mix of drivers that fit the following:

Starting up front and can potentially lead lots of laps.

Good drivers starting farther back can pass many cars and finish with a strong differential.

Drivers starting up front I like:
Tyler Reddick, Austin Cindric

Drivers with great differential potential and could lead laps:
Ross Chastain, Ty Gibbs

Drivers with great differential points, and possible top finishes:
Michael McDowell, Chris Buescher

Most likely to be chalk plays:
Tyler Reddick, A.J. Allmendinger

It will be very tough to beat the chalk of Joey Logano and Kyle Larson this week, but the notable starting position of Ty Gibbs and Austin Cindric can help go against the grain and save some salary.

Race Winner  Tyler Reddick
Best Bet for a solid finish A.J. Allmendinger, Austin Cindric
Dark Horse Differentiators Chris Buescher, Michael McDowell
Chalk Plays A.J. Allmendinger, Kyle Busch

NASCAR Fantasy Live:
The revamped Fantasy Live game run by NASCAR.com is a free game to win prizes and test your skills at picking drivers with limited starts. Each driver has 10 allocations, a garage slot you can swap with mid-race, and the ability to choose drivers in head-to-head match-ups for bonus points. Play at nascar.com.

After an ok showing at Vegas last week, I'm looking to save some starts this week. Here's who I have in my NASCAR Fantasy Live Pool this week:

One-and-done Games:

Hopefully, you heeded our advice and went with Todd Gilliland last week with his top-15 finish!  This week is going to be chalky with Jordan Taylor. I'm in a good position, so Taylor is my pick this week in the One and Done leagues. Other "ringers" that could show well are Jimmie Johnson and Michael McDowellTyler Reddick is a good choice if you're way behind.

If you are interested in playing any of these games, sign up before the green flag drops at 3:00 pm EST at the links below:
