MLB New Start Pitchers - Week 2 (April 8-April 14)

When you are in a league with daily roster moves, setting your lineup is easy. Pick the guy who's playing and plug him in. However, in leagues with weekly roster locks, it's not always that easy. Do you play a decent pitcher who only pitches once, or do you go with a lesser option who pitches twice that week? Sometimes, it makes my big 'ol brain hurt...

In this weekly article, we rate the two start pitchers to try and help you with that decision. You need to try and balance the extra strikeouts and win potential of the two start pitchers, to the possible dent they could put in your ERA and WHIP categories.

At Your Own Risk

Mike Fiers looked much better in his second game than he did in the Opener, but with matchups against Boston and Houston, don't chase last week's success.
