Good morning, race fans! It's time for the Pala Casino 400 at Fontana, California! The oldest racing surface in the series laid down in 1997, likely sees her last racing action before going under the knife to become a short track. With all of the rain, look for lots of wrinkles for this event, however, drivers that are skilled at managing tire wear and maneuvering with reduced grip are going to shine.
No cars are reported to start at the rear. The weather looks like a 15% chance of rain for when the green flag drops at 3:00EST today. Start your engines!

Look for a mix of drivers that fit the following: Start upfront and can potentially lead a lot of laps. Good drivers starting farther back can pass many cars and finish with a strong differential. It's going to be very tough to beat the chalk of Chase Elliott and Kyle Busch this week, but notable equivalents of Austin Dillon and Tyler Reddick can help go against the grain and save some salary.
