United Rentals Work United 500

Good morning, race fans!  It's time for the United Rentals Work United 500 at Phoenix Raceway! Look for a warm sunny race today, with drivers looking to manage a slick, flat track.  Nascar's new short track aero package debuts in competition today, and will likely throw a wrinkle into the finish.

At the time of this article, no drivers are reported to start at the rear. No tech inspections Sunday since cars were impounded.  The weather will be near 80 degrees with sunshine and a 0% chance of rain when the green flag drops at 3:30 EST today.  Start your engines!

NASCAR DFS

I'll be playing in Draft Kings this week. If you're new to the NASCAR DFS world, here's a quick summary of how scoring is done:

Look for a mix of drivers that fit the following:

Starting up front and can potentially lead lots of laps.

Good drivers starting farther back can pass many cars and finish with a strong differential.

Drivers starting up front I like:
Kyle Larson, Denny Hamlin

Drivers with great differential potential and could lead laps:
Kevin Harvick, Joey Logano

Drivers with great differential points, and possible top finishes:
Josh Berry, Chase Briscoe

Most likely to be chalk plays:
Kyle Larson, Kyle Busch

It will be very tough to beat the chalk of Joey Logano and Kyle Larson this week, but the notable starting position of Ty Gibbs and Austin Cindric can help go against the grain and save some salary.

Pennzoil 400 Winner  Kyle Larson
Best Bet for a solid finish Kevin Harvick, Kyle Busch
Dark Horse Differentiators Chase Briscoe, Josh Berry
Chalk Plays Kyle Busch, Kyle Larson

My DFS Line-up Today:

DK Chrome Horn 150K

Other Picks and props:

Fanduel Kevin Harvick +1600 Outright, Christopher Bell +1200

NASCAR Fantasy Live:
The revamped Fantasy Live game run by NASCAR.com is a free game to win prizes and test your skills at picking drivers with limited starts. Each driver has 10 allocations, a garage slot you can swap with mid-race, and the ability to choose drivers in head-to-head match-ups for bonus points. Play at nascar.com.

After a good showing at Vegas last week, I'm looking to build that momentum. Here's who I have in my NASCAR Fantasy Live Pool this week:

One-and-done Games:

Hopefully, you heeded our advice and went Justin Haley last week with his top 10 finish!  Like I mentioned last week, I like Josh Berry much more this week.  Chase Briscoe has previously won at this track, and other flat-track gurus like Aric Almirola and Ryan Preece could show well. Denny Hamlin is a good choice if you're way behind.

If you are interested in playing any of these games, sign up before the green flag drops at 3:00 pm EST at the links below:
