Player Props: Week 12
Oops I did it again!! My man @fightingchance actually liked my picks from Week 11 but it was another losing week where I was wrong on five of my six player prop suggestions. Maybe @fightingchance was just trying to “prop” me up because he knew I was down because of my recent losing streak. I’m now 15-22 on the season. So, what do I do? Write another article of course!! Here’s five of my favorite player props for Week 12 in the NFL. If I were you, I’d take my picks and go the opposite way.
Please remember that gambling is super risky and you should only use funds that you can afford to lose.
Tetairoa McMillan, Carolina Panthers
Over 4.5 receptions
McMillan had a career day for my fantasy football team in Week 11, snagging eight catches against the Atlanta Falcons. It was his second straight week with at least five catches and he’s had at least five in three of his last four games. McMillan takes on @fightingchance’s San Francisco 49ers in Week 12, and they’ve given up the second most catches to WRs this season. Look for McMillan to make it at least five catches in three straight games in Week 12.
Chimere Dike, Tennessee Titans
Under 3.5 catches
Dike takes on the Seattle Seahawks who, unlike the 49ers, have been very tough against WRs of late. Over their last four games the Seahawks have given up the second fewest receptions to WRs (36). Dike hasn’t had more than two catches in either of his last two games. Look for that trend to continue in Week 12.
Trey McBride, Arizona Cardinals
Over 7.5 receptions
McBride has a very good matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 12. The Jags have given up the third most receptions to TEs (33) over the past five weeks. With Arizona Cardinals WR Marvin Harrison Jr. out again in Week 12 look for McBride to have a big week.
Harold Fannin Jr., Cleveland Browns
Under 3.5 receptions
It’s been a tough season for the Las Vegas Raiders, but they have been able to keep NFL TEs in check this season. Over the past five weeks the Raiders have given up the third fewest receptions (13) to TEs. That hasn’t just been a recent trend. For the season, the Raiders have given up the fourth fewest receptions (38) to the position. Look for that trend to continue in Week 12, and with Shedeur Sanders under center for the Browns, Fannin Jr. will likely struggle. I’ll confidently take the under on Fannin Jr.’s receiving prop for Week 12.
Geno Smith, Las Vegas Raiders
Under 195.5 passing yards
I may not have a lot of faith in Shedeur Sanders’ Week 12 outlook, but I do believe in the Cleveland Browns’ defense will contain Smith today. The Browns have given up the fewest passing yards to the QB position (1842) this season. I don’t envision there being much scoring from either the Browns or the Raiders this week. Take the under on Smith’s passing prop.
