Player Props: Week 6

Other than Alvin Kamara not hitting the over on his rushing prop, Week 5 was very kind to me. I stayed away from those pesky anytime TD scoring props and four out of my five suggestions ended up being correct. That brings my three-week record to 11-5 (.688 winning percentage). Let’s see if I can keep moving forward with my five favorite player props for Week 6.

Please remember that gambling is super risky and you should only use funds that you can afford to lose.

Rachaad White, RB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Over 26.5 receiving yards

This is the second week in a row that I’m counting on White to make me look good. With Bucky Irving out again in Week 6, White should play the most snaps among the Buccaneers’ RBs. White’s superpower has always been his ability to catch the ball out of the backfield and over the past two weeks he’s averaging just under 30 receiving yards per game. His Week 6 opponent, the San Francisco 49ers, have given up the fourth most receptions to RBs (27) this season which should help White hit the over receiving yards prop this week.

Tyler Warren, TE, Indianapolis Colts
Over 4.5 receptions

Warren is looking like he’ll be the best TE in the NFL before long. He’s averaging 4.6 catches per game this season and he’s taking on an Arizona Cardinals defense that is giving up an average of 6.8 catches per game to TEs. Warren had four catches last week and almost certainly would have had more, but with the Colts pummeling the Las Vegas Raiders by a wide margin, Warren and several other starters were rested for much of the fourth quarter. That won’t be an issue in Week 6. He’ll hit his over 4.5 receptions player prop.

Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Carolina Panthers
Over 70.5 receiving yards

Can I really call this a player prop bet article if I’m not picking on the Dallas Cowboys’ pass defense? Entering Week 6, “America’s Team” had given up the most receiving yards to WR (944) in the NFL. McMillan is averaging 8.6 targets per game and will be heavily involved in the Panthers’ offense again in Week 6. With the Cowboys owning the worst pass defense in football there should be no reason that McMillan doesn’t log at least 71 receiving yards this week.

Ashton Jeanty, RB, Las Vegas Raiders
Over 76.5 rushing yards

Jeanty is coming into his own of late, averaging 5.9 YPC in his last two games. He takes on the Tennessee Titans in Week 6, and they’ve given up the second most rushing yards to RBs this season. Looking at it from a different angle, the Titans are giving up 5.15 YPC to RBs and Jeanty has averaged just over 17 carries per game over the past three weeks. If those trends continue, Jeanty will likely rush for more than 77 yards this week.

Jordan Love, QB, Green Bay Packers
Over 238.5 passing yards

I sometimes like to stay away from picking offenses that are coming off a bye week. A lot of team’s offenses are a little sluggish after a bye week, but Love’s opponent, the Cincinnati Bengals just can’t defend against the pass. Love’s over/under is 238.5 yards and the Bengals have given up at least that much yardage to opposing quarterbacks in four of their first five games. Love throwing for at least 239 passing yards is a lock for Week 6.
